About Diwa Play, the licence behind it and the safety net under it
Diwa Play exists to give players in India one place to find every kind of game they already enjoy, without juggling half a dozen apps and without wondering whether the site is safe.
Our audience is everyday Indian gamers on everyday phones: students on a budget handset, office workers on a commute, families playing together at home. Rummy, carrom, chess, sudoku, arcade and adventure titles all sit behind one free account.
The editorial goal for this site is narrower and simpler. Explain how the platform works in plain language, tell you what is protected and what is not, and never dress up entertainment as a way to make money.
The regulatory framework behind the platform
Diwa Play states that it follows Indian laws and rules and operates under licences that permit it to run online games legally. A licence is not decoration. It is the mechanism that obliges an operator to hold player funds properly, publish its terms, honour payouts and answer to a regulator when a player complains.
Online-gaming law in India is still changing, and individual states set their own rules on particular game formats. We say so plainly on every relevant page rather than pretending the picture is settled, and we ask you to check the rules that apply where you live before you play a money format.
Regular independent audits
Game fairness is not something a site can verify about itself. Random number generators are submitted to independent testing laboratories, which run millions of simulated rounds to confirm that outcomes are unpredictable and that the published return figures match real behaviour.
Payment flows, account security and complaint handling sit under the same principle. They are reviewed on a recurring schedule rather than checked once at launch. If an audit finding changes something a player would care about, it belongs on this site, not in a footnote.
Four things running quietly behind every round
Certified RNG
Certified random number generators decide every outcome, so no one, player or operator, can predict or manipulate a result.
256-bit SSL
Your data is scrambled in transit with bank-grade encryption, so what leaves your phone cannot be read on the way to us.
Trusted payment partners
Deposits and withdrawals run through established Indian rails: UPI, Paytm, net banking and cards, never informal transfers.
Active account monitoring
Automated checks flag unusual logins and collusion patterns, and the support team investigates accounts that break the rules.
Responsible-gaming tools you can switch on at any time
The platform promotes responsible gaming. You can set limits on how much money or time you spend playing. If you feel you are playing too much or losing control, you can take a break or stop playing. These controls live in your account settings and take effect immediately, with no waiting period and no phone call.
- Deposit limits. Cap what you can add per day, per week or per month, and lower the cap instantly.
- Playtime reminders. A session clock that interrupts you on a schedule you choose.
- Self-exclusion. Lock yourself out for a fixed period, or indefinitely, without needing a reason.
- Real-time support. Live chat, email and phone, with a team trained to act on a limit request rather than talk you out of it.
18+ only. Games are for entertainment, not income. If gaming stops being fun, stop playing and talk to someone. Our support team can help you put a break in place the same day.
Who writes this site
Every guide, game page and explainer on this site is written and maintained by the Diwa Play Editorial Team, a small group of writers and editors who cover online gaming in India and use the platform they write about.
Pages are reviewed on a rolling basis and re-checked whenever the platform changes something a player would notice: a new game category, a change to bonus terms, a payment method added or removed, or a shift in state-level rules. The date printed under every page title is the real date of that review, not a rolling timestamp.
We write in plain English because our readers are not all fluent gamblers or fluent English speakers. Where the platform makes a claim we cannot independently verify, such as a licence, an audit or a payout figure, we attribute it to the platform rather than asserting it ourselves.
Found a mistake, a broken link, or something that no longer matches what you see in the app? Tell us through customer service and we will correct the page and update its review date.
